Well guys & girls, I reset and tried to kill him but as was already said he just dissappeared. Resetting has made the party much stronger and it is exciting to go forward with such strength!

It has been awhile since I have played the game... but I remember stoning him before he got anywhere... but I forget if you can do any damage to stoned creatures...

Stoned creatures can be hurt by a few spells such as incinerate. They can also be hit by gaze attacks by characters with the evil eye trait. And they can, of course, be unpetrified again.

But that is interesting. I bet that Grue Morde will still spawn when a character has become an assassin even though the traveller has been petrified. And that way two of him will exist at the same time. [img]smile.gif[/img]

AFAIK, Grue Morde is always spawned when somebody becomes an assassin, no matter what has happened to the Traveller. Grue Morde is also spawned repeatedly if you become an assassin repeatedly by means of the "pass the dagger" trick or by means of having more daggers in your possession.
On the other hand, there is never more than 1 Grue Morde in the game. He behaves similarly to the Raptor during the ranger quest.
