Just installed this on my computer and am trying to get out the gate to the cemetary but cant get out or into the city hall.

You have the common Virtual Dub issues... you need to use Virtual Dub and decompress a few files... don't remember the exact process but step-by-step directions should definately be in the Tech threads..

Why, I wonder, does *everyone*, myself included, tend to call that town "Valeria"? Is it by some analogy with Valerium, the herbal sort of Valium which works well on insomniacs? The town is boring...

Valeia is certainly a strange name... too many vowels, quite frankly, for one good word to have. The links to valerium... I can't answer to that
