Bummer on your boss, LadyZ. I know it's been coming for a while, but that doesn't make it any easier...
 I hope that things work along quickly for you. Hopefully you've picked up some contacts in other law offices where you might be able to quickly put your skills to use, even on a temporary basis (for when their folks go on vacation) if they don't pick you right up. Job hunting isn't fun, but it can begin early with thoughts about what can be next. Keep the faith... you know where you've got people to fall back on
