Hey, just wondering where the TOEE forum went... Also, is there going to be one for Knights of the Old Republic? That is definitely one of the finer RPGs i've ever played.

No.
Atari pushed it out before Troika could finish it.
Atari removed chunks of mature content so it was incomplete. Atari did not allow a patch to be produced in a timely fashion to fix the bugs that appeared because of their meddling. And a group of fans created a patch ahead of the official one, which was not taken lightly by the game magazines (bad press).

A really good game, with gorgeous graphics and excellent turn based combat (IMHO) pushed out the door to soon due to greed on the part of Atari. Troika (and the gamers) got screwed.

My 2 cents.

I've read some not so good reviews. Is it worth playing? Thanks!

I hope those fools learned the lesson taught them. I'd hate to imagine this happening again to the games that keep us alive.

I take it you mean the fools at Atari. I think Troika had an excellent game that was undermined.

TOEE indeed had potential. I did have some fun while playing it, bit on the short side though...
