Well Cerek knows I'm keeping him in my thoughts right now from the Oasis thread, but I'll say it here as well. Hope all went well and he is recovering without complication right now. Keep us informed please Cloudy when you talk to him, so we know if he is OK.

UPDATE ON CEREK'S SURGERY:

I just got an email from a friend who spoke to Cerek this evening:

I got a phone call from Scott (Cerek) earlier this evening.
He says that his surgery is done and he is OK, and his
only problem is that he's running a low fever. He says
it's nothing to worry about and that he should be out
of the hospital in a few days. Amber (his wife) is with him.
Also, he was asking if Scott P. (VulcanRider) could please
post this info to the Ironworks forum.

He wasn't able to stay on the phone long, but he
sounds good.

I'm sure that [Cerek] will be back on line shortly to
tell you all about this himself.

I'm trying to find out his room number, then we can email Get Well Soon messages directly to him here:

I'll When I know more, I'll post it...

I'm glad to hear he's doing OK! Thanks, VulcanRider
And a room number to send emails would be cool! Maybe we could fill out the form without filling in the room number but I assume that will be a lot more hassle for the one who's delivering those messages... so if you can find out, that'd be cool. Otherwise we can just use his personal email address.

Thank you for posting VulcanRider. I'm glad he's feeling OK and the surgery went fine. I'm sure they'll give him some mild antipyretics to get rid of the fever quickly. If you get any more news please keep us updated VR.

SEPT 9 Update...

I just spoke with Cerek. He sounds great, and said he's already walking laps around the nurses' station. He said he'll be getting the loan of a laptop tomorrow, so he'll be able to answer PMs then. If his recovery keeps going at the same pace, he might be discharged as early as Friday evening. Keep your fingers crossed ! !

That's great! Sounds like the surgery was more of a success than anticipated. Hope to see you back soon, Cerek.
