1: How do you quote twice in a reply?
2: How do you make that cool fluro text? 3: How do you make writing bold or italic and make it a different colour and change the size? 4. How do you include a site and just write "here" and when you click on it it goes to that webpage? Thanks . Oh yeah I've been to the thread about HTML but can't find the answers I'm looking for. **Just testing stuff** Testing Testing again...Testing again Testing again [ 03-11-2002: Message edited by: GokuZool ] |

quote: Just use the Instant UBB code to the left of the reply box. Click on "quote", you'll get a {quote}{/quote} in the reply box, copy what you want to quote in between them. You can do this as many times as you like, writing responses after each. quote: Again use Instant UBB code. Click on URL, you'll get a box saying enter the address. Then click okay, you'll get another box where you can put what you words you want people to be able to click on to access the site, eg "here". Looks like you've got your other questions down

To make a link, (such as this)
Use this code, replacing { and } with < and > respetively: {a href="URL"}Text here{/a} or if you want it to open in a new window: {a href="URL" target="_BLANK"}Text here{/a} This coding will work not only at forums, but on any website you are building. |

quote: 1. Simple, you can have as much coding as you want affecting a certain word. Close the tags in the OPPOSITE order to what you opened them, so... for the following: Text Text Text (EDIT:Remember that you can use any colour) The coding is (change the symbols as above- and add that (=[ and )=] ): {font color=lightgreen}(b)Text(/b){/font} {font color=lightgreen}(i)Text(/i){/font} {font color=lightgreen}(i)(b)Text(/b)(/i){/font} As for 2, to make it fluro, you simply have to use a fluro colour... Someone around here is bound to have a hexi-decimal colour chart, and that is what would help you choose the right colours... [ 03-11-2002: Message edited by: LennonCook ] |

They way I learn these nice tricks is to look at the code of someone elses post, just find some one who has used the effects you want and then press the quote button(this will display all the code that as been used) just make sure you dont click the add reply button when you are finished

About your first question,i really don't wanna try that When it comes to html,i'm just an amateur who can add a nice color now and then.
The search engine is down now, because the old server can't handle all this traffic anymore. It will be back when we have the new server Really have to use the preview-button more....sigh [ 03-21-2002, 02:24 AM: Message edited by: Campino ]
