Anyone know if it would cause any problems having both on in the same room? I mean as far as defeating the purpose of the filter etc. Just wondering, never had to use both until allergy season.

Shouldn't cause any problems, but the air should be cleaner than just running one or the other. Changing the filters on both from time to time helps...

That's where central air comes in. It uses the heating ducts to cool the existing air, as opposed to bringing in outside air like a window a/c unit does.

Aye, thank you. An air con would be making my purifier work overtime since it's constantly beinging in new air but once it don't cause any problems that's cool.
