At the guest lecturers accomodation I was hungry early in the morning and had a look through the presupplied tins in a cupboard and guess what was there. Two tins of SPAM. Well with all the talk of spam on this board I decided to try it. I hadn't had some in over twelve years I reckon, and remembered why....

It started out tasting ok - I dug in with a knife and ate it plane. Salty meat, a bit moist but ok in small doses. I summed up the courage to put some on two slices of toast and grill it and learned of the error in my ways. For some reason in brought out the taste of sugar in the bread??!! The combination of the two was not a happy marriage!

Which leads me to this question.

If you can't have it with bread, how do you eat it?

Which leads to my second question.

Will I now be mentally impaired because I consumed spam? Will I get flashbacks?

Never ate SPAM in my life, so I wouldn't know a damn thing about your first question ...

This is my favorite type of spam:

Do you like the new shirt I bought?

Very stylish don't you think?

Can anyone help me. I'm having trouble on the web. The Cricinfo site says India 552 for 4. I know this must be an error. Can anyone tell me the true score?

Mmmm smoke flavoured. Wonder why they don't do variations on the types of flavoured smoke? Sandalwood, Pine, Oak or even Tobacco?

SPAM: Tobacco smoke flavoured.

Well, you see Donut, the Aussies were a bit concerned about crowd control and keeping the peons happy and all that. Didn't want to totally destroy morale for the home team, that would just not be cricket

If India want to back themselves and win the Test, they should declare at the start of the morning session tomorrow and try to bowl Australia out. If they bat on they're being negative.

BTW England won because of poor umpiring

Oh well, we know we'll still be keeping the Ashes anyway
