I remember "Land of the Giants" and being happy to get my 2 bits allowance. I remember the "Waltons" every Thursday Night and yes Variol "Lawrence Welk Show" was a must see every Sunday.

We'd have to stand up after a quiz and announce how many questions we had gotten wrong. And THAT is what we call "proper motivation." Never mind if it may or may not have given me some sort of complex that compels me to nitpick grammar and spelling.
