Just to add to my earlier post. I have nothing against people who use monks as whatever makes the game more fun for the person playing is always good. Just for me I am more of a roleplayer so powergaming is out for me which IMO includes monks. There just to clear it up

I agree, I'm playing a monk at the moment and its most unsatisfying. I am whopping everything and the rest of the party are there for eyecandy (bar Edwin, who rocks...). It sucks, too much power..

Monks roll D8's for hit dice, and dont get the fighter con bonus...but when you're a superhuman killing machine what a few hp's/level between friends.
