Timber-I just finished my first year of college and I know laptops are shat for gaming so I'm getting a desktop-what kind of decent gaming laptop would i get for $800 anyway
This is what i can take from the old computer-the monitor (17inch flat panel), the 2.1 sound system, and the video card (i payed for all those, and the extra sticks of memory too but I need to leave those in ), and I can probably steal the wireless keyboard my mom has for her laptop since i've never seen her use it

Have to get back on you with the stats on my current computer, but the one I'm using right now I bought for $800 plus tax.
At Wal-Mart no less. A wonderful little package deal. HP makes it. Pentium 4 2.4 GHz 256 Megs ram 64 Meg video card 80 gig hard drive 15" flat screen monitor (I'm pretty sure those stats are right, but not entirely positive at the moment and it's late. ) Anyhoo...haven't had any troubles with it running any and all games that I like (IWD w/expansions, D2:LoD, various other games). |
