Havin' trouble

Im playin a 4 character quest and running into lots of difficulty. Iv'e just gotten in to the cave after you have to defend the bridge and meet up with annelia (or something like that) but ive had to fight every battle like at least 5 times. I there something im doing wrong or is it just cuz ihave 4 people?

Having four poeple shouldn't have much to do with it. Tell me, what are the party's members and their stats, and how do you use them?

Maybe you need to destroy some drums that will call reinforcement.

NO!DO NOT TOUCH THE DRUMS!!! If you have archers or something in your party make sure they do not attack the drums. One attack on the drums will call one Worg Rider. You have to kill the shamans who drum the drums. If you kill a drum some 5-6 Worg Riders warp in, not a fun sight. I'm just at the same place in HoF so I know what to do exactly.

If you destroy the drum no reinforcement will come. I know because I always destroy them.

But if you don't even touch them even less people come, just make sure NOONE attacks the drums.
EDIT: And yes, I've heard that if you kill the drum before anyone shows up(in some 1 round or so) noone shows up so that might be what Kakero is talking about.

When I did it I used my thief to hide in the shadows, sneak past the enemy and from a distance shot the drum with a bow to destroy it. It is important however that you are at a safe distance and cannot be seen. This method was quite tricky but effective.

Ya the part im at is right at the bginning of the cave. I got past the first big room with all the goblins and the second part with all the orcs. but then the next part is where im gettin mauled at. My party is a fighter, barbarian, Cleric, and Sorcerer. All are level 7 cept the cleric hes level 8

if you somehow get invisible, you can sneak past all of the camps and get rewarded experience-wise...and Pondmuk is your friend (but don't rest with him)
