1. Cavalier, Undead Hunter, or Berserker. NOT Kensai, unless your Cleric is your Tank.
2. Assassin's great at high levels, but by that point most enemies are immune to Backstab, and you lose a lot of Thief points. Swashbuckler, maybe. 3. Sorceror. 4. Priest of Helm. Add in Jan & Jaheira to play backup for all 4 classes.

I agree with SixofSpades for the biggest part. Cavalier, Undead Hunter of Berserker are best as a tank, Barbarian is cool too.
Swashbuckler can also double as a backup fighter. Priest of Helm or Lathander is a good Cleric. But for a Mage I would suggest, provided you have ToB of course, a Wild Mage. They are IMHO the most powerful wizard class available. |

Cavalier/Archer, cuz they are the best scripts in the game.
Straight thief/Swashbuckler/Bunty Hunter Straight Mage Straight Cleric because they are the best character to choose in the whole game. nuf said.

Hi Aurum,
I'd suggest: Human Cavalier Elven Sorcerer Then, you'll need a thief, a back-up mage and a back-up healer. You DO NOT need a full priest, because your Cavalier can turn undead and heal. He ought to count as 1/2 a priest. So here are some options: 1) Priest of Helm dualed to Thief. This would be interesting; I've never seen it done. You'd then have a free slot for an Archer or a Conjurer or ... 2) Multi-class Fighter/Cleric and Thief/Mage. Probably Thief/Illusionist. Might as well use Jan! 3) Full-class Thief, multi-class Cleric/Mage. Do you like Aerie, or would you rather roll your own? 4) Thief/Mage and Druid or Fighter/Druid. Druids rock! Especially Avengers and Totemic Druids. Alternately, Jaheira. -- Nifft |
