Iron Ranger: You're dead right about the infusion of youth in these old teams. It's just too bad that the Wings have lost Jiri Fischer for the next 4-6 months due to knee surgery, however... BTW, I think Jiri Slegr is still a free agent right now.

We don't have a hockey team where I am from, and they hardly ever put it on TV, but I love the sport. I just dont know that much about it. I try to watch it whenever I see it on. The is nothing on earth like the hockey playoffs.

While my NHL loyalties lie with the Penguins, I personally prefer to watch the NCAA game. We have 3 strong college programs here in Boston -- BU, BC and Harvard -- but I have to go with my Alma Mater, the University of Wisconsin. Go Badgers!
