when it asks you to set your protocol, just go to serial, or tcp/ip. then, when you go to create a game, just follow what it asks. then all you have to do is create your characters. after that, click the little checkmarks next to their names, and go to done. that should be it.

NO EFFECT?!!!! I need bigger sword!

FOR WAVERIDER:

I'm sorry but I have understood nothing of that U told me...

FOR MORGAN CORBESANT:

Thank U for the answer but I haven't understood a thing: once I've created all the 6 characters (an entire party) I am costrict to play on Internet with someone else (a challenge or a shared story...) or can I play a story alone with my party? (for example can I play the same story of Single player or a different story with my party but not connected to the Internet?)

Thank U all the same
Bye bye

Connect using 'Serial'.

You do not have to be connected online even, by the way.

Create a new game.

Create your own characters.

Click on the arrows next to your characters when you are satisfied.

The game starts.

Wait for the game to autosave, then exit the game.

Go to your Program Files/Black Isle/BGII - SoA/mpsave folder and copy the autosave folder.

Go to your Program Files/Black Isle/BGII - SoA/save folder and paste the autosave folder, overwriting any old autosave folder.

Start the game.

Load the autosave from your Single Player game and play as Single Player.

Yes, you play with your own party, and it's the same story-line as single player
