Everquest. I didn't catch that it was a net game only. I thought you could play it solo too. I'll be damned if I'll pay monthly charges plus $50 for a game.

A game called Odium. A turn based combat game. Worthless! It played like it was programmed by pre-teens. The story line sucked! You're supposed to be a military strike team and you start off with like 20 rounds of ammo. I wouldn't have paid a quarter for it if I knew what it was like.

I paid the handsome smackdown of Fl 189,- dutch gilders (~87 euros = ~97 US dollars BACK THEN IN 1987 !!!) for the nintendo 8-bit game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Reasoning for buying the game: I saw it on an arcade machine where it looked mega-awesome. When I inserted the game into the NES I nearly perished of disgust!! So ugly and terrible was this game and the fact that I paid for it with my allowance for the next 6 years to come !!

C&C: Tiberian Sun, I fell for the hype and it only took me a day to realize that it was without a doubt the worst RTS I had ever played.

pirates of the caribean has my vote for the bigest suckwad game of all time. I though that since it was made by the same people who made morrowind that it would be an alright game. I was only half right. The graphics are great, but the contols were desighned by monkeys with downs syndrome on heroin. You literaly need 3 hands to play the game. 1 for the mouse, 1 for the "enter" and "space bar" keys and another to work the "F2", "F3" . "Q", "W","E", "R" and the "A", "S", and "D" keys.

Settlers 3 - The game got huge bug problem. and BlueByte blame it on some ch virus.

Master of Orion 3 - a total disappointment and I was hoping something better. The computer is the one who is playing the game not me.

Might and Magic 9 - The developer personally tell us in 3do community that it would be good. bah! this one bury 3do down straight to the earth. did anybody understand what the opening movie was?

Dark Cloud 2 - I really fell for the hype on this. this one make me fall asleep 15 minutues later while playing it. it was that boring.

Breath of fire 5 - I really had so much fun with bof3 and 4. this one changes everything and now it dark and gloomy. the music was uninspiring at all. really hate that.

Europa Universalis 2 - This game should be turn based. real time is what make this game bad. While making a decision I didn't realise it was already 1000 years later. arggh.

Likewise. I read numerous online reviews and opinions before even thinking about buying game. Why blow $100 bucks on a dodgy game?
