That is a coincidence. Wonder if it had something to do with our IWD copies? It was a totally bummer for me, because, idiotically, I first started IWD without bothering to browse much through the manual. Played for weeks with ony ONE character! Thought to myself "where the heck are the joining NPC's??" Duh. Figured it out finally, restarted with an ENTIRE party, played for a couple of more weeks, then crraassshh!
