The dark elf rears back, with his Moonblade above his head, "Time to finish this.." He runs takes a step on the Paladin, leaps off him and swings his Moonblade, taking the head off the golem. The body falls to the ground, and shatters. "Aye, I've fought many a golem in my day, but for some reason I had a personal connection with that one.."

"My people call me Rhazor, and what of these wizards you speak?" He tries to avoid further questioning of these 'wizards'.

Skye bounds out behind the dark elf.
I thought I heard Tancred calling out. We should probably go and find the others, so we can escape in a big group, so we can't get taken down by some stupid wizards. Whose with me? We might find the key to these stupid collars along the way. Yeah, so maybe my fire ring idea wasn't exactly a good one... (almost torched my head off...)but at least it was worth a try!

Hi, Rhazor, it's nice to meet a fellow elf. The wizards I speak of happen to be the ones who knocked out (most unkindly) all the people that I was with from the tavern. Weren't you brought in here by wizards? At least I think they're wizards... and I'm not trying to be nosy or anythhing, but how did you get that sword, your Moonblade? And how come it wasn't taken from you, like the rest of the weapons?

*sigh* To my people I am a great hero. Alas, I was ambushed by a group of Necromancers, and taken out by their Undead.. When I awoke I was being dragged here, but how I got here I don't know. My name has been tainted, and so my people will see me as their hero no more.." He puts his Moonblade back in its case, and sits down on the dust-covered floor. "My Moonblade? Do you not know how all people get their Moonblades? My people, like I said before, are the people of Evermeet. I am their ruler there, or I used to be. This Moonblade found me, how it did I am not sure. Heh, they could not take my Moonblade, simply because they could not lift it! No one can use my Moonblade besides me, and me alone."

Caleb is hit on the back of the head by a cloaked figure for yelling and is dragged around a corner. 5 minutes later the cloaked figure drops caleb on a surgical table and alchemists get to work examining him. Just as they are about to insert a anal probe the cloaked figure knocks out the alchemists and takes off his hood...ITS JACKIE CHAN!!! "HAHA FOOL YOU!" Caleb and jackie chan run out of the alchemy room and turn a corner to see 2 prisoners finishing up some iron golems and they go to help them....

Skye's big mouth once again gets her into an awkward moment.
Erm, sorry about that Rhazor... I don't think that your people will no longer consider you to be a hero because of this, though. I mean, all you have to do is avenge yourself, and then you can be a hero again. At least you HAVE a people to belong to... I'm one of the few, if not only, remaining descendents of the Amothoi elves, who where wiped out by a surprise attack from Rauthauvyr the Raven, of Sembia, a long time ago. No one knew about the surprise attack... everyone thought that they just faded out, or moved northward, to our distant relatives. Only a few escaped, including my mother. No, it is an ashaming secret that no one knew of. Lets just drop the "past" questions, shall we? I won't ask you questions, and you won't ask me.
Skye drifted off into a gloomy silence.

"A strange wondrous place we are,and nothing more wonderful right at the moment than a golem without it's head." Staring off down the corridor the Paladin sees the back of the elf with the moonblade rounding the corner of the corridor. Looking the other way he he spots movement from a doorway. A cloaked figure walks out of the doorway past the Paladin, cursing and muttering.
"What's this racket,I'll have the lot of you flogged and then ..uurrrkk.."
The Paladin looks down at the cloaked figure with the head now level with it's shoulders and shakes his head ruefully.
"Well,I won't get any answers out of him. Perhaps there are answers to be found elsewhere though." Moving as quietly as anyone can move wearing dragon-plate he slips to the nearest door and using a nearby tapestry to muffle the sound strikes off the padlock. Keeping a wary eye out he moves down the corridor,muffling and smashing the cell locks.
I wonder where that elf went,and whether he knows anything about where my sword is or my eggs..?"

The situation looks bleak but not too bad. You have all broken your chains although your spellcasters are disabled for the moment. Apart from yourselves, you also have Lord Raptor (Fighter/Mage/Thief who dual-wields Celestial Fury and Crom Faeyer, particularly in backstabs) and Slaughter Margin (half-orc Berserker who uses BlackRazor OR Crom Faeyr
.
Your next few encounters will be with mid- to high-level 'adventurers'. In my campaign, the Netherese used such people when they wanted tasks done outside their tower. They are called Seraphs by the Netherese. It was these that captured you in the first place
.
I shall also run hunting in the tower, too. Once the Netherese know (which won't be long) they shall send summonings after you, or hunt you themselves
.

~Melusine, still locked in the cell next to Skye, calls out in a tired, mildly annoyed voice: 'Helloooo? Anybody care to open *my* door for me? Always the same with those human women... the one moment you are plotting escape with them, the next they see a "hottie" and they forget all about the innocent and helpless elf imprisoned right next to them! Oh well... I suppose I'll just rot here forever and ever then. Only I would *hate* to think what Lord Thought would do to Skye if she returns to the bar without me...probably flay her alive...nah..that'd be too much trouble. After all, he's an Old One...he could make her head explode with a single thought!'
She smiles as she hears hasty shuffling feet outside and then the sound of a lockpick instrument fumbling at her cell door. Moments later, a red-faced Skye appears in the door-opening, blushing furiously and anxiously avoiding Melusine's sparkling eyes. 'Thank you ever so much, Skye', the elf says, and then she can't stop the laughter bubbling up in her anymore...'Silly girl, it's ok! I knew you were getting me out! Now, we need someone with a big hammer for these chains...But first, stop looking so ashamed and give me a big hug!'
After Melusine is freed from her chains, she purposefully walks into the narrow hallway connecting the cells. In an authoritive yet soft voice, she calls to the others...'OK people, let's pull ourselves together here. We have no idea what this place is, or who captured us, but for some reason I think it has nothing to do with our mmm... little accident while landing. Those trolls were the stupidest I have ever seen, but we seem to be dealing with some frighteningly smart people here who have gone to great lengths to bind us. I mean, we even got collared! Now, I say we have the best chance of survival if we stay together and work as a team. So are there any others whom you ...forgot to take out of their cells? Grinch? Ah yes there you are. Skye, seen you as well. Caleb, those were some pretty nasty new words you thought up...I'll add them to my repetoire so I can use them when you're being bad again. But I'm glad you managed to survive...I think I see Jabidas coming out of that cell over there... check. Draggor...check. Who is the elf with the Moonblade? Oh well, save the introductions for later, first we need to be complete. Now, where are Tancred and Wah? Let's split up and search the remaining cells for them.' They spread and quickly find Wah, who's managed to free himself from his chains. Then, they open the last door...Grinch peers inside, and quickly retracts his head again. "I think we need a healer", he says in an alarmed voice. Melusine quickly steps inside, and to her dismay sees Tancred slumped on the floor, not moving. She runs towards him and kneels down, placing two fingers in his neck to feel his pulse. He stirs, and looks at her. 'Are you alright, Tancred? Don't worry, I still have enough healing spells...hell, I could do nothing but praying last night anyway...I do hope the collars allow cleric spells though!' But Tancred shakes his head and sits up, "No need for healing," he says "I'm fine." 'You don't look fine to me, she starts to say, but then, to her shock, she sees that the big knight is crying...'Oh my God, what is it? Tell me!' He wipes his eyes and wearily points to the right where Karnas is propped up against the wall. Melusine stares, her eyes growing large and she swallows. 'Oh my God, Tancred', she repeats, 'I- I am so sorry!'
The others look at her expectantly as she emerges from the cell. She looks at the ground and whispers, 'Tancred is ok everybody. Physically, at least. But...but Karnas is dead.' Amid the jumbled cries and gasps of horror and compassion, she raises her hands and asks for quiet. 'Please, someone who is strong enough, free Tancred, and then we must be off. I'm not leaving him here, even though he probably doesn't care any way or the other.'
