Monk AC bonus: does it apply if shapeshifted as a Druid?

I'm considering adding 1 level of Monk to my Druid build if the WIS AC bonus from being an unarmored Monk applies to the shapeshifted Druid form.

Can anybody confirm or deny if this works?

It should. It might not.

It works in Neverwinter Nights at least. Make an alternate save file the next time you level so you can test it.

I've read that it does work, but I've never tested it out, since I usually only take monks when I'm investing a larg amount of levels into them.
