Darn Genie

One of the 7th level spells, I think it was either Summon Jinn or Summon Efreeti, really sucks. Don't use them. I mean, one of those genies would be pretty powerful, to a first level character, but they only have about 5 spells, like the first-level magic missile that only shoots one missile, and the second level spell Stinking Cloud, and also, their hit points stink. When they die, they come back to life as your enemy and suddenly have 4th, 5th, and 6th level spells like Spell Deflection and Improved Invisibility, plus many others. The only genie summoning I would recommend would be with the (Efreet or Jinn?) genie bottle you find in Tredemeet, but I don't know anything about the Genie Ring.

Why are you complaining about how they suck and you still use them? Dont use them again then!!!! I find Nirushu and Heakshar are very good. They're better than that chain smoking, lamp living, good-for-nothing, fireball freak!

only efreeti are fireball freaks, since only they are from the Plane of Fire. Djinni are from the Plane of Air. They aren't really that bad; they're better than most summons. My biggest problem with them is that they attack about .0003 seconds after finishing casting their spell, so they usually end up dying. oh well...

I like summon wyvern, nishruu, and monster summoning III. the wyvern doesnt last very long (duration is short) but it makes a pretty good tank for me plus if it dies take its head to sell for some $$ lol. i like monster summoning III for the ogre berserkers. the nishruu speaks for itself haha

I like Amimate Dead once you get to a high level. Those Skeleton Warriors are awesome! The only problem I have with them is that they cant keep up with my party. They must not have drunk their coffee today.

My favorite Summons include Animate Dead, Conjure Animals, Wyvern Call, Mordenkainen's Sword, and the Wands. Of course, sometimes I like to play a bit....like the fight at the Tree of Life: I'll attack Jon with a single summoned Kobold. He'll use his Death Spell on it. Then I cast Summon Hakeashar.....and poor Jon has NO physical attacks! It's a hoot!

Animate dead is good, especially with cloudkill. the skeletons are immune to the poison so sent them in as tanks then cloudkill on big groups work good

*oops, i forgot something. How do you summon Kobolds? is it a monster summoning? I have all 3 of them but i forgot what all summon except number 3
