I killed a cave crab in the stout mines and he left a shell is there any use for this item?

Welcome to the forum, Gatemaster!
Crab's shells are very useful indeed - later in the game, when you are in need of underwater equipment, it will be made of such shells. It is up to you to decide whether you are going to keep this shell in your backpack for a rather long time (untill BrimlochRoon), or just to kill several crabs in the sea area when right time comes. For me that crab hunt was VERY long, since I met crabs not enough often (with "Frequent respawn"! ), and more than half of them just had not shells! Good hunting! ------------------ Tanda, with best regards from Guild of Assassins [This message has been edited by Tananda (edited 07-24-2001).] |

Hi Gatemaster! Welcome to the forum!
You need those crabshells later on, until Brimloch Roon, when you will need underwater equipment for an area that is almost totally underwater. The crab hunt was VERY long in my case so I would take every shell you can get your hands on. I've heard that getting crabshells is easier if you pickpocket them (apparently they can be pickpocketed when sometimes they don't drop them when they die, don't ask me why). You'll probably want to remember that when you need them. -Jafin ------------------ I am Jafin, arch-mage of the HADB clan! |
