Nothing wrong with an HP! I had two over the last 4 years and never had a problem that I didn't cause by **tweaking** it...lol.
The one thing I really loved was the system restore discs. Wanna format your HD without worrying about finding all the drivers you need, etc.? System Restore discs can format your HD and then not only reinstall windows, but actually restore your system to its new "out of the box" condition. I loved that! I got a Dell this year, but I spent as much on it as my previous two HP's combined. My son also got an HP for Christmas, so now I'm a network administrator. The pay sucks and the hours are quirky, but I get to work out of my home.

I'd just like to point out that your HP is another fine product from deep in the heart of Texas. I know you'll have a great time with it. *I knew that the real reason for the Canadian Invasion was to try and get all our computers and comp. chips.
