Locked Chests??

Could someone please help explain why Yoshimo is unable to open some chests. I realise that some chests need keys, but he is unable to open the chests by the dwarf in the seven vales (Chapter 1) and in the graveyard tombs.

Some chest in the game (like the ones in Seven Vale) are more difficult to "pick" than others, you are better off casting "knock" to open them. Sometimes, you can also bash chest and doors open. You can try the above or get a better thief, I think Jan is better in this case.

P.S. always look for traps before you attempt to open chests.

you need to alloacte more points to the open lock ability of yoshmo as it starts at 65%

Or get a better thief. Jan has lots better Open Locks skill

Sheesh... were renegades, rebels, and rogues, not human can openers.

But seriously, get some potions of master thievery (cost is steep, but it last for 12 hours, and you can make up the cost).
