Cloudbringer...isn't spring just the most beautiful time of year?! Relatively mild weather (when it isn't storming lol) and the rebirth of everything around us that lives?

My wandering jews are sporting pretty purple blossoms and some tree I learned the name of yesterday and have since forgotten lol is dropping beautiful white flowers all over the lawn! Even the Queen's Crown vines are spreading through the fences and trees like wildfire, sprouting buds that soon will burst forth in a brilliant pink accent to everything they touch. Gives me the warm fuzzies lol!

MILAMBER,

The movie was really good! I am a TOTAL Johnny Depp fan (he is just TOO beautiful lol) so I am rather prejudice where his work is concerned but if anyone is familiar with him, they know he is versatile and believable as the characters he portrays.

Today was no exception in his portrayal of a Boston kid growing up and moving to Cali as a young man and getting invloved in the drug trade. The ending had me in tears for the poor guy. You would have to see it to understand what I mean cause I ain't telling too much to keep from spoiling it for anyone who reads this.

A great new movie for any J.D. fan (no LoA, that's NOT Jack Daniel's LOL)and even an astonishing performance by Paul Ruebens.

I would recommend it to any movie fan.

Hehe, I'd love to see "Pee Wee" as a drug runner! Although I heard his look has changed considerably. I'll probably wait until the movie goes video before I see it.

Moni, your garden must be a picture to look at! BTW, what happened to the signature?

Milamber: Cool signature!
Sazerac LOL! Glad you got to enjoy a little of the warmer sunny weather! I need to find a local channel where the weathermen actually know what they are talking about lol, they are ALWAYS wrong! Can't seem to count on the weather channel either...they post the wrong guy's predictions! I have learned it is easier here to just get up and look out the window...set yourself to deal with what is there and be prepared for extreme changes as the day goes along lol...it is hot and humid right now...not as overcast but enough to make it sticky enough to really appreciate the cool breeze!

MILAMBER, I agree on the sig! Far Out!

Moni

(not using my own sig right now as I am pressed for time...got to go heat up the chili for grandpa and I want to reply to everyone who has responded so far.) I got 5 minutes lol

Pee Wee's look was quite astonishing. A movie well worth the matinee price (5.00 here) if you can get out early to see it!

Moni, when I get some time, I'm going to just have to make a run down to San Antonio to see my father. Maybe then we can finally meet (over at the Fuddrucker's at the Alamo, LOL!)

Trying to get a new used car right now...if I could do that, I wouldn't be so skittish about making trips...

I know, I'll have to check out the movie...well if I can ever get any time! This weekend I'm going to Louisiana to see my mom for Easter, then next weekend going up to Oklahoma to commune with nature at my favorite springs, then the weekend after that is Denton Arts Fest, the biggest Art and Jazz Music festival in North Texas. I'm out there both days for about 8-10 hours each! *sigh* You can't keep me in when it's Spring!

Sazerac,

That would be great! I am sure that you and your wife and Rex and I could have a pleasant afternoon eating burgers and talking! You and Rex would probably have a lot to say to each other, being techies and all...just let me know when you can! Maybe we could even drive down here for dinner at his parent's house...his dad is an artist and a teacher and I think that you of all people would love to meet him. They are both very neat people and if you want to see beautiful gardening, THEIRS is the house to see it at! When the wisteria was blooming, it was hanging down in between beams over the open part of their back porch...big, beautiful boquets of it! Just amazing.

LOL I am getting later and later...don't want to keep grandpa waiting...I don't hear him coming to check on me so I think I am safe lol..it is still early enough after the change over to daylight savings that I can get away with it for now!

See you later!

Moni
