Question(s) 1: Is it possible to find a "fortify skill" spell, and, if so, where?
Question 2: Oblivion now refuses to start, crashing halfway through the "Bethesda" splash screen. (It's a windows error message "Oblivion was forced to close blah blah). This, despite a full uninstall and reinstall of the game, my graphics drivers, and a total defrag. I should point out that, before the game started crashing, I had completed the game on this exact system. Anyone have any ideas? A web search hasn't revealed anything related, but I'll resort to searching tech support if nobody here has heard of something like this... |

Okay, okay...how about if I skip question 2?
I've seen a few enchanted items which fortify a skill (e.g. fortify armorer 7 points). I can't find any fortify skill spells anywhere, though. I also read that fortifying a skill above 100 has very limited benefits, so is it even worth it? |

Not sure about Question 2 mate. I have had some problems with Oblivion crashing, it's just a wee bit unstable IMO. As for Q1, I'm sure you could create your own if you wanted to?

1. You can get fortify skill spell from birthsign , race or quest reward or even vampirism. Putting skills above 100 give little to almost no benefits.
2. Oblivion sometimes ctd for me. It's no problem because I save my game often. |
