I was about to say welcome to IW but you have been here since Oct 2001. I like your average post count.

As far as the gimp I have no clue.

I love the real GIMP interface. If you gave me a photoshop I probably wouldn't know how to use it. I've never tried it. The so-many-windows thingy might be a bit annoying but I seldom use other applications at the same time anyway.

After spending several months self teaching Photoshop, and several years of practical application, one only needed to switch to Linux to learn GIMP. Now you say, there is a GIMPshop? Is there source for Linux?????

This doesn't strictly change it's interface any - just which options are in which menus. And what's wrong with its current interface? It leaves window management to the window manager, like everything should.

GIMPshop was originally for Linux. The source is available at this site, it also has a link for instructions for compiling and running the source code.

I think the gimp menus are annoying cause there are so many you need at the same time for simple things. But well I like it still more than with the window, had a slightly different idea about photoshoplike than just adding an extra window around everything.
