BgII needs more mages!!!!

The only thing i hate about BgII is that it lacks decent mages. Sure, you got Edwin, but he's evil. You got Imoen, awesome mage, along with Nalia. But really, the only straight mage is Edwin, but he's evil. Of course u could play as a mage, but I hate the fact that mages are rare. And thieves are rare too. Anybody find a good guy to play as. Cuz i have had Nalia and Imoen, but i don't think anybody else is good.

What about Aerie? She is a "full-spellcaster"!!!

sorry, forgot bout her. Yeah, she rocks, but i am no ALSB fan. Sure she's good, but she gets on my nerves sometime. "Am i beatiful to you" "i am hopeless wahahahah"

Aerie's a multi-class cleric/mage. Slow advancement and
generally pretty weak.

Yeah, slow advancment, and it takes her forever to get decent mage spells. And her strength suks, i generally give her the Belt of Hill Giant Strenght (19 str)

Yeah she is but if you buy the Robe of Vecna (bonus item from the Collector's CD) which minimizes the time of spellcasting, she can do the healing spells during the battle in a great speed!

Cool, didn't know that. I got collectors edition, but no lady, so i downloaded the lady in secret, (my dad dosn't let me download, yes i am a kid)

I generally take her along until she gets splattered. I enjoy
the quick experience for saving her, and the little subquest, but
she's quite annoying.

She's good and all, but there are better people. I tend to like Jah, even though she's not a mage. Pretty decent Str and Dex, and give her a decent quarterstaff and she's awesome. SPOILER: In TOB, she gets druid and fighter special abilities. Watch her go nuts with greater whirlwind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aerie is very annoying bacause she only reaches 9th level spells very late in the game. I reached them when I was just before the end of ToB!!!
And I had done almost all the quests in the game!
