MM7 Mod... new release out!
*edit 3/19* Another patch to the mod is scheduled to come out March 22... and I'm now going to be an NPC in it I was having problems getting my posts to BDJ's blog to stay, and in appreciation for my efforts in *trying* to give feedback, he's decided to add me as an NPC and change one of the quests so I'm the quest giver. This is cool!
If you haven't downloaded the mod and you're an MM junkie, you really owe it to yourself to give it a shot. I'm having a lot of fun with it... a whole lot */edit* Just came across this today, and started playing tonight. Someone by the name of BigDaddyJim has put together a mod to MM7 that adds a few new things, changes things around, and expands on venerable old MM7! For those MM players out there, I can tell you that after kicking it off tonight, I am anxious to get back into the game again! I will offer just one piece of advice, should you attempt it... assume that most of what you remember has changed. And remember Mama Hissy's words... save early, save often.... You can download the mod here And there's a rather active thread about it here. It's a new mod, and while it's past beta stage (for those who know what that means), you may still run into some issues. Take note, and feed 'em back... Enjoy!

I know about this mod, but since it have some issues on it ( being it's still on beta stage ). I'll wait for a while before downloading it.

Understood... however, if there's no feedback to Big Daddy Jim, he's probably not going to finish the mod, as I see it. So helping and giving feedback will help make the mod more playable... if one is so inclined

A second revision of the mod is scheduled to be released around March 9... I'll be looking forward to it! This first revision is a lot of fun so far... definitely a different game, for sure!

Nice find Bungleau! Thanks for the heads up. I just may give this a shot, as it has been some time since I last played MM7. *jots it down on the to download and play list*.

*edit* BTW, playing the first version of the mod is still a lot of fun. My only potentially negative comment from a gameplay perspective... I am *SWIMMING* in gold. I've got close to half a million, and no need to spend it (at least yet). There have been some very interesting additions in this mod. I really like the courier guild... I always thought that you should complete a round of the various "sales opportunities" to become a Master or GM Merchant. I don't know if the courier guild impacts that, but it's the same kind of thing. One thing... get back to taking notes about the new things in the game. For instance, I *wish* I kept a full list of the courier guild teleporters... or could find one. I'm looking forward to the next release, but I may finish this one anyway.
