Please stop thinking about nukes. That will the most effective weapon of the terrorists...fear!
As some of you may know, my wife and I have been planning a trip to Paris. We are due to fly out on September 22 and it may not be. My wife's best friend works there for IBM and she hasn't her for at least 8 years. Today she wrote me an e-mail from work: "Both Tom and Wayne have canceled their trips overseas. I'm thinking about canceling also. The risk is too great right now. We'll talk when I get home." The terrorist's toll is being felt and I'm very sad that they will spoil my wife's dream. They are ruining all our lives and will continue to do so as long as we fear. I guess I didn't help her situation when I said if we ever got hijacked, I would try to stop them. They are winning. Well, I suspect we shall find out which one of us is correct soon, I've just had a terrifying thought, what if someone supplied Bin Laden with nukes, he wouldn't hestitate to use them and if he used them, no country could be blamed, and no counter-nuking would happen, if a country which hated America supplied him with nukes without it being discovered..... Imagine the devastation and destruction....

I am not fear, mind you. but i cannot stop thinking about it. when you close your eyes to reality, you will be torn by the unseen danger.
It is too unreal to fear such things. I am just looking at the cause and consequence here, I hope you know what I am talking about. ok, my topic is: I fear I fear for making the wrong choices and the results. do I fear terrorist? hell NO! I am sure everyone is the same here |

I am not worried about Nuclear war, because I don't think either side would play that one.
But the Middle Eastern people are well feared for their Bio-technology. I am worried about the little cans of spray that one spray can take out 10Km. I am worried about the Anthrax and other wierd diseases that they are more likely to use. It can be placed here alot quieter than a Nuke can. ------------------ Father of the wicked but cute child known as MaryBeth Padre de una niña bien traviosa pero guapa --------------------- Aisukuríimu ga tabetái desu. |

BTW 250.
Remember that interview I had Wednesday. Well, I got an e-mail from them saying they hired someone else who was better (in so many words, of course). Life is really starting to get me down lately. (I apologize for this self serving, feeling sorry for myself post.) Mark |

Nuclear war is highly unlikely, but if a country faced certain destruction, then they might, in the last few minutes before their defeat, launch their nukes....
Terrorists, on the other hand, would not hestitate to use nukes. ------------------ Worshipper of Tiax. Wielder of the ancient Lawyer spells. Member of the HADB clan. Ally of the Fluffy Queen and the Dreaded Red Fluffy |

they MAY have nukes, but do they have ICBMs (InterContinental Ballistic Missiles)? i dont think so, but i may be wrong... so therefore, a nuke probably wont be touching us anytime soon. however, if they are crazy enough to try a nuke (and im afraid they are) then we'll all have to deal with the fallout in the atmosphere.
------------------ It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.
