Yoshi's Island, some Mario music, Heroes of Might and Magic I,II, and III. I could list stuff for pages lol.
I allways get really involved when the music on MGS2 starts like the music to the bit were the parrot flys away and that guy dies

I LOVED the music from Icewind Dale. Especially the music played when you were in Kuldahar.

Hrmmm.. The Final Fantasy series has some of my most favourite tunes.. Its really a toss-up between FF7 and FF10 but FF10 wins out due to better sound quality.
IWD and IWD2 have surprisingly good music, but you dont get to hear it too often because it doesnt loop. And one that has to be mentioned is Warcraft 3. I have the collector's edition which has the soundtrack, and the March of the Ancients is one of the reasons why I play Night Elves..

I would say that the music for Fallout 1 gets my vote too. But all of it.

And i think you got the games mixed up. Fallout's end theme with the vault dweller was 'Maybe' from the Inkspots. Fallout 2 had Armstrong.

Shadow of the Beast!!! Al three of 'em.

Doom (but not Doom2).

Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3.

Descent.

I am totally nuts with a guy called Mark Klem. He made the music to the PC go-cart game Whacky Wheels, but the best of his works are for various Doom wads (for the uninitiated: Wads = Doom addons). This guy's a genious.

His web page is: http://elguapo.c-gate.net/~mklem/music.html

BG2
Unreal Tournament
Carmageddon (I)

I like to leave the BG2 menu music looping while I do something else. Made tapes of the latter two and constantly play them while driving.

How could you guys forget Planescape Torment! The music in it is just brilliant!
Homeworld is great as well, but the Wing Commander4 music beats everything.. It totally sucks you into the story line..
