How do i deal with the adamantium golem in Windspear hills?

I know that i can get him stuck in the opening, but how do i kill him????

He does not seem to be harmed by my weapons.

You don't have to. If you let him wander off, you can pass him invisibly. Otheriwse you need +3 weapons or more

Use 'Melf's Minute Meteors'

and this magic can do damage to Demi Lich...

If you have found Lilacor and have minsc in your party you should try Hasting him, casting barkskin using an heroism potion then engage the golem in the door while desactivating the group IA.

Then use your healers in backup to heal minsc during the fight and the golem will be minced in no time !

Unfortunately, Lilarcor is a +2 sword; adamantite golems are only affected by +3 weapons.

Here are 3 possible solutions:
1)a Wand of Cloudkill will affect adamantite golems;
2)the Flail of Ages +3 or a similar enchantment weapon. Be prepared to take a LOT of damage if you go head to head with an adamantite golem though; or
3)Melf's Minute Meteors. This might take a while.

Thanks guys!

I havenīt got the meteors or a wand of cloudkill though.

And i only have two flailheads on the flail of ages. (this would make it only +2 right?)

Will "regular" cloudkill work?

Also, is it important to pass these golems?

well it gives you a lot of XP
No the spell Cloudkill won't work..... because they save vs spells but not vs wands....
Sorry, does anybody have another thing that might work on the adamn=antite golem???
BP, are you sure you haven't got a single +3 weapon? A cleric's staff maybe?

AAAAH, Melusine the "fox" of the forum

Is the blade of saverok or the "talking sword" (canīt remember itīs name) +3 weapons?

BTW Korgan carries a +3 Battle axe. That might do the trick if he survives going head to head with the golem.

Korgan with +3 axe would definitely work...
I think I saw Memnoch posting that the talking sword Lilarcor is +2, I thought it was +3. You can find out yourself by checking how much damage it does...
1d10 + 2 is a +2 twohanded sword, and 1d10 + 3 is +3 (doh... )
