my problem is that my bf built me a brand new machine with every bell and whistle. i just haven't been able to play any of my old games successfully on it. no baldur's gate, no throne of darkness, no planescape: torment .... the list goes on and on.

i'm hoping VtMR will run. *crosses her fingers*

Bouncing between Witcher and NWN ( undermountain). Tough to split time evenly between them.

i was playing "Fate", but it just won't let me. i get CTD's when i try to descend to lower levels. and it's exactly the kind of game i LOVE ~ great dungeon romp, great loot, great graphics. it was supposed to be fixed in the bonus pack, which i have, but it hasn't worked for me.

i'm SO bummed.

I'm playing the original Gothic now finally, as the holiday season encroaches. It's brilliant stuff - the spirit of adventure and exploration in it is wonderful. I haven't gamed very much over the last few months due to uni - so it is indeed time to catch up.

P.S:
I've joined the Old Camp after much scratching of the roleplaying chin.

Can't say as I've encountered that issue in my game.

As for what I'm playing right now, nothing, but when I am playing something I'm currently reliving old memories in FF8.

Ive played through BG2 SoA+ToB tons of times but have never done the icewind dales, so im on IWD1 atm.

Also i think im gonna buy myself a 360 + Guitar hero 3 for christmas,
im getting pretty good at Frets on Fire.
