Kakero, the tongue smiley in your post probably indictates that you are already aware of this but I counted FFVII as anime since it's a Japanese game and the plot is in some ways typical to some anime.

Guess it's a matter of opinion, Link. He doesn't look scary but he sure does look cool and evil the way I see it. Although he does look slightly feminate, which certainly isn't new to male anime characters. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Another FF? They already made one! it is called Final Fantasy-Spirits Within. It was frekin awesome you should rent it or buy it!!!!

So has anyone seen this yet?
I have pre-ordered a copy for myself (australians dont get it for a while)
But I am considering just importing a copy so that I can see it before it's released here...

Its a cool action movie but thats about it :/ i expected alot more than some nice action and a sucky story.

lol, a guy from th local Video game store downloaded the Japanese version on the weekend and has been playing it on the TV in the store and saying that it is a "promotional trailer" so I have seen a bit of it now, and I agree, the story looks a bit strange, but the action/fighting scenes kick ass.

Yeah, "Special" poeple in Japan got to see it on the big screen about 2 weeks ago, then it came out on DVD on the 12th (I think) it wasn't long ago anyways.

*Ahem*... not that I wanted to promote illegal file sharing or anything, but the Japanese dubbed versions (with English subtitles) are widely available in various P2P network.

All I can say about this movie, is "WOW!"
