I've heard a lot of people say good things about Wizards and Warriors and I was interested to know which one do you start playing. If it is the same game I'm thinking of there are several versions out right now. Where do I start?

Hello, Bluestar!

Yes, I've played Wizards & Warriors multiple times...still have a current game going, although I'm trying out BG2 now and ACTUALLY getting into it. Follow RudeDawg's advice and check out the Wizards & Warriors forum to get a feel for what the game is about.

Welcome to the General Discussions Forum, Bluestar! If you haven't had a proper Ironworks WELCOME before this, you will now!

Lots and lots of helpful folk around here. And the Wizards and Warriors clan is among the nicest we have! Do check the threads already recommended and let us know how you make out with your quest to try a new game! I've started W & W myself and got lots of tips and hints at the W & W forum!

Wizards & Warriors is an excellent game. I'm on my second playthrough right now. I don't know of multiple versions of the game but I COULD be wrong. You may be thinking of "Wizardry" which has many different versions. Well, as several other people have suggested, head to the W&W board! That's where I started and it's one of the nicest groups there is. We welcome any newcomers there!
