gems

hi im new on baldursgate and now im playing baldursgate2 with expansion tob and i just want to know what all the gems are good for like moonstone gem and bloodstone what can u do with them?
i have a gem called pearl rouge it says that u can create som sort of spell with it how?

it would be really nice if someone could help me=)

the gens you need in BG2 are

rouge stone: for 'Twisted Rune'
diamond + bejauril gem: for two upgades of the Horn of Summoning

(tell me in want to know more)

in ToB you will need many of the most expensive gems (rouge stones, star sapphires, ect.) for ungrading of items

Just sell all the 'cheap' gems

now i had the bejaurel stone and the ore merchant didnt want to upgrade for me????with diamond also.

The horn of valhalla upgrade is gotten from the Horns merchant in waukeens promanade (he's a bit left of the adventurer's mart)
