I have finally finished, and now I want to play again. How can I restart the game without losing my dubbed town .avi files? Please help. Oh yeah, zenmaster is great but you don't get to use it very much before the game is over.

The Reset Adventures button will delete all data related to the current game run and return you to the beginning of the game. All your characters will be sitting in the Valeia Inn. Click the "Valeia Town" button after Reset Adventures button.
The Reset Adventrues action should not affect the W&W files, for example the .avi files, only the files related to a particular game run (current contents of shops, and so on). I am not an expert in it.
Your saved games are not lost after Reset Adventures. You can return to them whenever you want. Among others, a reason why your .avi files should be okay after Reset Adventures.

Would be strange if the .avi was replaced... of course, you can back it up just in case...

Welcome to the board, Suzanna!!!

Congrats on winning the game AND wanting to replay too!!

Resetting your adventures will not affect your avi files. It will remove your characters class history (so if you had a warrior turned paladin turned samurai it would be possible to become a paladin again); quest items will disappear but little else.

We think that in the original plans for the game (which never made the final release) it was likely that the Zenmaster and Valkyrie class would have become available sooner. Still, they are great classes to play in replaying the game!

Have fun and keep us posted on how your new game is going!!

Welcome to the boards, Suzanna! May your second journey through the Gael Serran be as pleasant as the first

And on a side note, I have to wonder if...

All I can add on resetting adventures is that usually by the fourth or fifth time I try to do it, I get it right. More than likely, though, that's a PEBKAC issue...

Enjoy.

As they say: The first time is always the best. But nevertheless I found my second play-through of the game to be just as interesting, since knowing the plot and the history really made me appreciate all the little subtleties and hints in the game.

Personally I think the Zenmaster and Valkyrie roles are included to give one a bonus and a reason for playing the game again. A carrot held out so to speak.

Suzanna

I have found no problems resetting the adventure.
I am running Windows XP, and had to convert the avi's as well, and have not had any problems with the game after resetting the game.
Had problems with my own decisions when i played, hence the resetting of the game.

Cheers
