Memnoch, you forgot Germany vs Saudi Arabia, that was an easy win, too easy if you ask me.

Rooting for a sports team has nothing to do with being patriotic and it is a insult to call me unpatriotic based on this. Maybe I should pull your trick and call the mods to waste time looking the post over for a flame.

First of all I must apologize for my earlier post.I thought that Brazil after Belgium get to face the winer of senegal-Sweden.
No offense to Belgium,Sweden and Senegal but IMHO Brazil is a better team.
Anyway Germany won in an extremely boring match against Paraguay 1-0.
The goal was by Neuville at 88.
Coming up next Denmark-England

As the genies gather in the wings once more waiting to pounce I'm off to the pub to watch England - Denmark

Just time to say:

Everyone seems to know the score
they just know
They're so sure
That England's gonna throw it away
gonna blow it away
but I know they can play
coz I remember

Three Lions on a shirt
Jules Rimet still gleaming
30 years of hurt
never stopped me dreaming

It's coming home, it's coming
Football's coming home

Come

on

England

You're a real lark aren't you Caleb? Always a joy having you around.

And yes, by definition, going for the team that defeats your own nation is unpatriotic. If you find that offensive then perhaps you should look at your value system.

I'm just calling a spade a spade.
