Where is acid storm?
30% of direct damage spells do fire damage. Other 40% by Magic (MM or Cloudkill) Only 2 spells do acid damage and cold damage. Many monsters(except Dragons)are immune to all elemental attacks except ACID. It's one of the best! |

There is a spell in SoA called " Death Fog" ( 6th level). It is acid. Also, I found that if you do too much cold damage to a target they freeze into a statue for a couple of seconds and then explode into a million ice cubes ( including their items). Sorta like the flesh to stone spell. but that's only if you do too much cold damage.

There is a spell in Planescape called acid storm, very good against mages if there were all that many of them in the game.

I was expecting more ice based spells - after playing IWD, all you get is a measly Cone Of Cold and a stupid Ice Storm.
Look at all the wonderful ice spells in IWD, why did they forfeit any of thoses? I just don't get it. PS: However, if you must get rid of one fire spell - get rid of Aganazzar's Scorcher: it even does less damage that magic missile! (LEVEL ONE) - so pathetically useless. ------------------ |
