Smacked him hard enough with a Acid enhanced great axe.
Basic stuff since his has a weakness for acid.

Yes, it was hard as hell. I had to do alot of running and healing with my Ranger but eventually I won. I did not use any acid weapons, just two very powerful scimitars. Would have been better if I upgraded them with acid but was only my first time through so did not have it planned.
