I remember going down the aisle in countdown in Riccarton and actually moving as far away from the spam on the other side as I could, that stuff scares me
This from the guy who's country invented pawa? fritters. Spam is the second favorite meat in Hawaii next to portugese sausage. Try these wonderful recipes especially spam musubi its like sushi but with spam. http://www.alohajoe.com/joefood.htm

I would'nt be surprised if there was beef in there but I thought it was mostly pig parts?

FUN FACT OF SPAM:Hawaii has enough spam in storage for every family in the state to get a couple cans during a emergency.

Well done Tiamat, coherent post, albeit a bit disgusting

I was subjected to spam fritters when I was a kid - spam slices in batter, deep-fried. I wish I hadn't looked in this thread to be honest, I'm hungover and my stomach just flipped over thinking about that

Yep, my Grandmother used to subject me to Spam fritters when I was young. Oh those were the days... we had to get up at 5 in mornin', go down to mill, work a straight 36 hour day, and when we came home our father would kill us and dance on our graves.

Errrr... yes.

But did you know that Spam isn't really Spiced Ham, as we have been told. Spam is really the meat from the cross breed of Spaniel and Lamb. The hideous mutant Spam creatures are kept out of site so the public never find out, but I know!!! I know all about it!!!

They are after me...

Here's another fun Spam Recipe:

SPAM CAKE

First get some spam and then cook them in an oven for around 20 minutes with around 50000C.

Then the spam should be on fire. Eat the fire and pretend there's cake. Done!
