Sygate is another firewall, Felix. I tried using it a while ago, but I was looking for freeware at that time, and their only freeware option expired after thirty days.

Spybot S&D is Spybot Search & Destroy... another spyware killer. Between it and AdAware, most spyware is covered, caught, and killed.

Do a google search for it... it's a free download.

I also use HiJack This as the third repair leg. It's also a free download, but it's not as user-friendly [img]smile.gif[/img]

Update: A week later, I re-scanned. 200 or so spyware files. Damn this bloody internet!

I run both AdAware and Spybot on a daily basis. Spybot generally picks up half a dozen items on the old family computer (which still uses IE). I'll be changing that over shortly... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Schedule 'em and forget 'em. That's what I always say...
