Here is a weird thought... what if this message board is just a huge AI scripting experiment? all the posts are randomly generated by a CGI/PHP/whatever scripts and the members are just bots, including you. it only exsists on a server in a garage located in Ohio... it started out as a small experiment but the creator abandoned it but forgot to delete it from the server and it just keeps growing, slowly growing sentinence... Haven't you seen Terminator 1, the bit when the landlord of the apartment Arnie is staying in to patch himself up, knocks on his door, says something to the effect of, "It stinks in there, what the hell is going on?" and then it switches to Arnies first-person (red) vision and you see a number of possible responses come up on his interface, and he chooses the most suitable one...which I can't repeat here

If they had that technology (time travelling cyborgs who can swear in the appropiate manner) in 1985 or whatever, imagine what they can do now!
