What is it that keeps your will to live on and face a new day?

For me, it's the thought that there are always new things to learn and do (such as ... ... new computer games!!! ). And of course, seeing my loved ones

There's always something new to learn.

Gandhi said: "Live like you will die tomorrow, learn like you will live forever."

That's what keeps me going.

Sir Goulum - It might be strange to you, but these days I read of many of the youth committing suicide

I wish I knew what it was that seemed to insurmountable to them. But since I can't, I want to know what keeps the rest of us going

What keeps me going? Hmm... maybe just the sole fact that I know things are looking up for me.. and they always will no matter how crap my life is at times... and because I want to enjoy lifes miseries... every single one... and joys too... so when I die and go to heaven I am sure I have done everything in onee push

what make a man keep struggling, what keep him going?
can it be the warm of a body that he never embrace?
or the promise of a kiss from lips he haven't taste?
or it can be a smile, something draw from deep within
its that smile what fill my soul and hope day by day.

little things, small steps

fear, of death - the unknown after

love, of my family and friends

curiosity, of the games i play and of the world at large

This coming from someone whom has attempted suicide before by the way.

At the time of my attempt i was depressed because my daily life was torture from my peers. every day i went to school knowing i would encounter people that would make fun of me, fight me, and otherwise be cruel. After my attempt what kept me going was mindlessly playing one video game after another to take my mind off of my depression, eventually i turned to reading books, and of course much later i got over it and found the fear love and curiosity to keep going when the tortures returned.
