Question Mark Re: DPG Rewards

Monsignor Siencyn, Abbot of Umbra, Bishop of Burglars, Canon of Cutthroats, Deacon of Darkness, Minister of Masks, Pilgrim of Pilferors, Prior of Prowlers, the Right Reverand Wrong, Shepherd of Shadows, and Vicar of Vice (Rogue/Cleric of Mask) got the very cool Cleric Robes of the Light today. (oh the irony!)

The order is now mostly worked out:
  • Magic User: Sorc, Wiz, and sometimes Bard (bug?).
  • Bard, if detected, is somewhere after here.
  • Monk.
  • Cleric/Druid.
  • Ranger
  • Rogue.
  • Dwarven Defender comes somewhere before fighter.
  • Fighter is checked last.

Needed combos:
  • Bard with any class lower on the list.
  • Druid with any class lower on the list.
  • Dwarfender with any class higher on the list, i.e. F/DD/Other

I was on for a few hours earlier but I think I'll be back later to try one of those Rogue Rangers, maybe with a touch of Assassin or Druid; then again, I don't think anyone has done Aeron sar Randal.

Ranger/Rogue/Druid gets the (ranger reward) bow...
Druids get shafted; not even a 13th door key!

Ung'Likely, after employing a certain gargoyle to assist in DPG, was rewarded with a lovely pair of gloves.

Or, to put it another way, Monk/Bard/RDD gets Su Lee's Gloves of Pain - monk reward.

Off to build Monk/Dwarfender/Fighter....

How very Ung'Likely.

I've updated the most recent table (above); now you've got me pondering tho possibilities of a Fighter/Dwarven Defender/Cleric of Odiferous Obstination.

I ran a DD yesterday and it actually said "I see you are a dwarf",not dwarven defender. I was hoping in would have been a dwarven axe not just a regular axe.

True, Razor's Edge is a battle axe. The classes are detected pretty much as I've listed, i.e. Magic User for Wiz, Sorc, & the odd Bard, but for Dwarf I don't want to imply that non-defenders can get the axe, even though the dpg guard says "dwarf". He was probably just trying to insult you-- at least you didn't get the Barbarian "reward".

This thread's a bit overgrown so I've started a new one with a complete description of what is known regarding DPG Rewards.
