This is a game I have tried an fell in love with. For all you old school pen and paper players, it's worth a try.

It gives you a good selection of character races and classes to choose from.

Combine races and classes to create your own perfect hero
Explore dungeons with your group members
There are thousands of powerful and magical items to find
All this and more - free of charge.

A quick search of his posts would reveal that he hasn't posted here since 2003. That might explain it.

From the Icewind Dale forums, and about five years ago. Borderline on the TOS... especially since I know my own record with MMOGs No more crack here, eh?

If you're back, Mitro, welcome and do share what's been going on.

Yes, I am back and I kinda went off the radar for a while. I quit playing games and slowly drifted off the boards. I got busy with a new business and didn't really have time. Now, I am back to gaming and raising/re-starting a family.

We've had another baby boy two years ago, and there's one in the oven now. The due-date for the new one is December 24th. Maybe have a Christmas Baby. We go tommorrow and find out the sex, hopefully. I'm hoping for a girl... having had 3 boys so far.

Well, that's been my last five years in a nutshell... Hope I found everyone in good spirits and doing well.

PS,
I sill see a ton of familiar faces..still posting, so I guess I'll have to get my counter going again.

Christmas baby... cool! My son is a Halloween baby... the whole US is partying every year on his birthday

So... is that game as addicting as the MMOGs I've tried are? I mean, I understand that with small children and a pending newborn, you're up most of the time anyway, but aside from that...?
