Hello,

Where do i find one. I need one for the Astral Longsword and cant find one in chapter one anywhere

Help me b4 i go insane and start killing innocent neverwinterians!

Supposedly you can get one in the docks areas from one of the Bloodsailors.
I actually just got one from a chest in the docks area. I was having the same trouble as you though, when I played through the game for the first time. I found everything but a diamond then. Once I was in chapter 3 I had four of the damned things and didn't want to replace the weapon I had. Keep your chin up. There are better weapons in Chapter 2.

It's actually a random item found in the docks. I happened to find mine on a thug. I can tell you that the astral longsword is the coolest weapon (so far) that I have found. I have also forged the Desert Wind scimitar, and the Namarra (neversleep) Rapier. I have to alternate with those ones.

you can get one from the owner of the Moonstone Mask - if you do her quest and persuade her to give you something extra from your work.

And the diamond in the docks district is not a random treasure - it is in a chest in one of the bloodsailor-buildings.

- 1st level of the Bloodsailor hideout under the bar (door by Chef acting as a guard).
-- Room with a Blood Lieutenant and the entrance to the 2nd level.
--- After defeating LT, to the right of the door that you entered, there is a trapped chest with a floor trap. That chest has had a diamond for me 4 times now.

I have played through Chp 1 twice now with a Wizard and a Rogue to get enough EXP to not get stomped so bad by Desther and have Linu survive too.

Someone mentioned the zookeeper has one on another board when I was looking for one. The one in the docks is definately not random.

but anyway, I don't remember a diamond in the zoo, however a piece of adamantite is indeed in the Zoo as well.

EDIT: and yes, the diamond in docks is a SET item, not a random. It's always in that chest. Just a word of warning - watch that trap on the floor and on the chest, it WILL kill you if you do not pay attention. That is, if you play the game through for the first time with new chars.

The trap is upgraded later as I went back for the diamond I missed. I died, well 125 damage does screw many over, regardless. I thought it might do 10 at most...
