golden pantaloons

I was just reading one of the older posts in which they mentioned the golden pantaloons. What was the piont of getting them in BG1 and is it true you can import them into 2 where they become somthing good?

I think the pantaloons (love that word) come in useful later on in BG II, you have to collect the silver pants too, and apparently there's a use for them later on....but don't ask me what

It's true, they do become something good, but you have to have Throne of Bhaal too.

There are actually three sets of Pantaloons in the BG series (gold, silver and bronze). One in BG1 one in BG2 and one in ToB. If you have all three you can give them to a bloke named Kerrick in ToB who will make some very interesting stuff out of them.

Hello Ed. Welcome if you didn't read it in the thread about Bodhi.
The pantaloons will become useful in the expansion pack to BG2 called the Throne of Bhaal. With them you can build very powerful items for free.
