I never even heard of it? is it some type of mod or somthing!? Do you get more romance options and more dialog options? That would be cool!

It is a mod, allows way more kits, more items and longer gameplay.
Trying to find the location.....

The TDD site indicated above is down, anyway, at least at this time of posting. TeamBG has been having some problems.

As for TDD itself--

Positives: new major and minor quests; many new party NPCs; plenty of new items; attractive background artwork (lifted *with permission* from other Interplay games); lots of new kits and spells

Negatives: poor game balance to many items, kits, spells, and quests; lack of party dialog for many party NPCs; spelling errors abound. (There's nothing like a series of spelling errors to kill a game for me. When the spelling is good, I focus on what's being written; but when it's wrong, I focus on the words, and lose the message.)

TDD is still being tweaked for bugs, but I doubt there will be too many tweaks to the quests, kits, items, or spells.

TDD was a first attempt (and success) at a major MOD for BG2. Now the tools are much better and there are many more experienced editors around, future MODs will be of a much higher standard. You can think of TDD as a "test" and no matter what people complain it is still hugely successful with over 30000 downloads and the first batch of CDs being sold out.

What pisses me off is when people whinge and complain about balancing issues and spelling errors when the makers spent well over 500 hours making it in my guess. Besides, it's free and so you can't look a gift-horse in the mouth, all you should be doing is thanking the makers or not playing it basically IMO.

Vaskez, I never meant to insinuate that TDD was unsuccessful, but I do feel that when a person asks, it helps to lay my opinion of the positives and negatives on the line for 'em.

You speak very hopefully of future mods, and I hope you're right. But I haven't heard of any major mods in the offing; so despite the prevalance of better editing tools, I question how many new mods will appear in the future. Do you have any exciting words to convey to us of major mods that are in development?

Sorry, that's my bad. I referenced the wrong jpg, and it ended up being a monster.

heh, i wasnt talking about your screenshot, but the one's ive seen on teamBG's site... but i know i cannot diss a add-on by just seeing the screenshots, but seeing screenshots from PT in BG just looks dull...

I wouldn't count TeamBG's screenshots against 'em. Once loaded, the images in the game look quite good, up to Bioware standards, in fact.
