MM1 was my first... I had *every* map grid mapped out in color. Yep... I was obsessed...

I had it on my Apple computer a LONG time ago, funny that the game was so basic but not funny that I had to change floppy discs every time I crossed from one area to another. About the Nintendo version, were the same "glitches" still there like they were on the Apple version? I mean, there was how the top level you could go to was 255, but if you go to the training area, you can keep training even though your level never goes above 255... like you can get some outlandish amount of hit points that would be impossible to achieve otherwise.

MM II is the only one in the series I have yet to complete and ironically, the first one I really ever played for any great deal of time. I have an original for it on the Commodore 64 as well as the clue book. I shall have to finally get back into it again when I have some spare time, preferably when it's hot, as I played it extensively during the summer of 96!
It has this gorgeous Bard's Tale III period vibe about the gameplay and atmosphere, so I know I'm in for a treat when I do get to it again to plumb its depths.

The last MM I completed was the first game about three years ago. I still have the map of the Land of Varn on my wall. By the gods, that was a good sense of achievement. Unlike half of the stuff coming out these days (which arguably can be completed in one's sleep) it took dedication!

I really got into MM II when I first got my Apple computer back in '88, and dove right into the game. I was a little young for the game, and didn't really get the full effect at the time. I did most of the game fine, but again never got the whole deal. Then, when I got rid of my Apple computer, the game went with it. A few years ago, I bought Might and Magic VI, which joyfully included parts one through five. I even played MM II before I touched part six, and soon finished the game. Instead of leaving it there, I went back and tried to map every inch of the various maps, and nearly did the job with only three squares in the Dragons Dominion (which I honestly feel it's impossible to explore those parts), and a small potion of a castle dungeon where I was thrown around via not-so-useful warp portals. I was going to leave it at that, but I went and maxed out my characters levels and went to do something I found I hadn't done... defeat the MegaDragon. It took a couple tries, but I eventually did it. Anyway, seeing how it's been a while since I've played the game, I plan on going back to it sometime in the future as I don't really remember certain parts of the game.

I have 1-6, courtesy of the M&M6 CDs I have.

I only play 6 though. Was never real fond of the first two, and Xeen doesn't play nice with my current comp.
