I'm still not going to bother.
Will carry on doing stuff on live, beta is all gonna change anyway. And then i have 3 years of Wrath live to play the beta.

I signed up for it. I'm still going to play live of course, but I want to get a preview of the new rogue talents. Looks like Assassination will be a viable pve spec which will put out even more dps than combat, but I kind of got used to not worrying about positioning.
Plus I want to see Northrend!

Geez the download was 2GB and is taking forever, I had to keep it running last night. Plus there's a 4 day wait to copy your character over or create a new character.

Geez getting this beta sorted is a PITA, I thought I could get into it but there's a 1.5GB patch I need to download now!

Just sack it off tbh, the patch will be live 4 weeks for the talents etc, wrath in 3-4 months.

Well, I'm finally in the beta and have created 2 chars - Scabbandari (had to change spelling), my 70 rogue I imported, and Anaxophus, a level 56 death knight. I was pessimistic about the DK before, but I have to say that it is pretty awesome so far! You start off at the Ebon Hold, which is a Scourge necropolis over the EPL and it looks so much like Star Wars - the DKs all talk like Sith lords lol. And some really cool abilities/talents so far.
More updates to come as I find out more
